Sylvain Richer, photographer artist

I am an artist photographer who works for 15 years with stage artists. I deepen my scenographic research to focus on the moving body. As part of my workshop, the studio Soaig, I develop photo concepts for dancers. I try to create for the artists sets, lighting, makeup ... always special.

In recent years, in Paris, my research has resulted in a Book and an Exhibition. At present, I am developing new visual projects with dancers in the Chinese capital, Beijing.

It is about a book of synthesis of about sixty pages diffused since 2013. It presents photographic researches, a systematic series of scenographies that I realized on 3 years with 30 Parisian dancers.

An exhibition in my Parisian studio, the Soaig studio, was organized in 2017. There was presented a selection of my work in progress: 30 photographic creations in Studio with dancers from Europe and Asia, on paper prints in the format 40cm x 60cm.
